Fasting is not gonna fix your digestive issues. You may see relief when you’re fasting, but it will not deal with the root causes.
The reason for that is – it’s always infections and overgrowths inside your digestive system creating your issues. The whole reason why you fast in the first place is because when you eat food, you feel bad.
So, you think if you stop eating food, “I won’t feel bad.” But, the human body’s made to have energy in and so you can have an energy output. When you cut out food, you might feel better for a bit, but it’s not dealing with the root causes.
The reason for that is – when you’re having fermentable carbohydrates or any food that you might be intolerant to, when you cut them out, these foods won’t feed these infections.
The whole premise of fasting is you’re not eating food so it’s not feeding infections and overgrowths; and hopefully, they’ll disappear. What I found is – these infections and overgrowths, when you starve them, they’ll go into hibernation; And as soon as you start eating food again, they just wake up.
What we need to do is get rid of these infections and overgrowths. The way we do that is through herbs that are:
- anti-parasitic
- anti-fungal
- anti-microbial
- anti-viral
Whilst also being selective with what we eat to get the body back into balance.
