When you’re doing a liver cleanse, it’s very important to get the intestines flowing. After I destroyed 70% of my liver after a motorbike crash, I was put into a liver ward.
What I found was really interesting - when people are waiting for a liver transplant, they keep them on medical laxatives. The reason for that is - when the intestines are flowing, it keeps the liver as clean as possible. When the liver cleans the blood, it dumps it into the intestines. By keeping people on medical laxatives, it kept them alive long enough to have a liver transplant.
It is the same principle that I use to help people reverse their autoimmune, digestive, & skin conditions. When we’re cleansing the liver, that dumps into the intestines so we also need to make sure that the intestines are flowing.
If you’re doing a liver cleanse with bitter herbs:
Firstly, you want to make sure you have herbs that are bulkers - what these do is absorb the toxins and help carry them out the body.
Secondly, you need the contractions of the bowel and make sure the bowels are flowing correctly. If you're having three meals a day, you want to make sure you’re having three bowel movements a day.
When you’re considering cleansing the body, always think about the other organs involved.
That’s exactly why when I help people with a cleanse, we cleanse the liver, kidney, & gallbladder, as well as the intestines.
That’s exactly what I’ve seen work for thousands of people over the last 6 six and half years.
