Best way to support your liver health is to have regular bowel movements.
When I was in the liver ward hospital after a motorbike crash where I killed off 70% of my liver, I got to witness a lot of people with liver problems. A few people in particular taught me a lot of liver health because these people were waiting for a liver transplant. Their liver health has gotten so bad that they needed a replacement liver.
The issue is that when you’re waiting for a liver transplant is that you don’t know when that a liver donor is going to die and make the ‘new’ liver available. Set the doctors put the liver transplant patients on laxatives to help keep that flow in the body to remove and excrete as many toxins from the liver transplant patient’s body as possible
I hope this highlights how important it is to have regular bowel movements to keep that flow in the body and support your vital organs.
